Seeking for some new experiences

A new collection has to start somewhere. Rather it is a shape, a color, a texture or a usage, there is always this one particular thing that all others revolve around. This is the essence of the collection.

And this is the hardest thing to find.

I seek for inspiration in Architecture.

After I see something I like, I try to translate its uniqueness to another material, to give the materials the same values, sensitivities, the inspiration has. The tempo of a building or the city lights can translate to a pattern made for lining or the right exact color.

After I find that something that inspires me, I try to build the story around it. What is the right color? size? shape? I try to take the essence of the inspiration and add it things that will flatter it. The right color to match the right idea. The hardware that would add an extra value, but won't steal all the thunder. It is all a question of dosage.
